What does this Bluetooth speaker do and when do you need it?

The ANSMANN BTS-Mini is a compact wireless speaker that plays music, podcasts or calls via a Bluetooth connection with your smartphone or tablet. With a diameter of 80 mm and a height of 86 mm, it fits effortlessly into a bag or backpack. You choose this size when you want sound on the go without carrying a large speaker around.

Why this size is the right choice

Thanks to its IPX7 water resistance, you can use the speaker in situations where water poses a risk, such as in the shower, by the pool or outdoors in the rain. The USB-C charging port has a rubber cover, so that protection actually stays intact. The included loop also makes it easy to attach the speaker to something or clip it in place.

Honest about battery life

The BTS-Mini offers a playback time of around 4 hours on a single full charge, which is enough for an afternoon outdoors or a working day in the office. Charging takes approximately 2 hours using the included USB-C cable. Please note that 4 hours is on the shorter side if you want to use the speaker all day; in that case, plan a charging break in between.

Practical tip: TWS and AUX

Do you have two of these speakers? Via the TWS function (True Wireless Stereo), you can connect them wirelessly to each other for stereo sound. Do you have a device without Bluetooth, such as an older laptop or an aircraft entertainment system? Then simply connect the speaker via the 3.5 mm AUX input. This makes the BTS-Mini widely usable, even when Bluetooth isn't an option.
