This versatile garden fleece protects your plants against frost and hail, while light and water can still pass through. Perfect for vegetables and fruit, it even raises the temperature underneath the fleece!
When do you choose this product?
When do you use fleece cover in the garden?
Fleece cover is essential for gardeners who want to protect their plants from the weather. You mainly use this cover to shield vegetables and fruit from frost, hail, snow and strong wind. The cover creates a protective layer that raises the temperature and humidity beneath it, so your crops grow better.
Why choose this size of 1.1 × 20 metres?
With dimensions of 1.1 by 20 metres, this cover offers enough surface area to cover several rows of vegetables or a good section of your vegetable garden. The width of 1.1 metres is practical for standard vegetable beds, while the length of 20 metres gives you the flexibility to protect different parts of your garden or cover one large area entirely.
What does the weight of 17 grams mean?
The weight of 17 grams per square metre indicates that this is a medium-weight cover that strikes a balance between protection and permeability. This thickness ensures the cover is sturdy enough to withstand wind and hail, yet still light and allows water and air to pass through to your plants. In addition, the material is UV-resistant, meaning it will not deteriorate quickly from sunlight.
Practical use for vegetables and fruit
This cover is specifically suitable for vegetables and fruit, meaning the material is safe for edible crops. You can lay the cover directly over your plants or use it as a tunnel covering. Be sure to secure the cover well at the edges for optimal protection.
