What does a hose reel do and when do you need one?
A hose reel helps you store and use garden hoses neatly. Instead of leaving a hose lying loose in the garden, you wind it up in an orderly way on the reel. This prevents kinks, weather damage, and makes it easier to unroll the hose to exactly the spot where you need water.

Why choose this 60-metre 1/2 inch version?
With a 60-metre length, you can reach virtually every corner of an average to large garden from one central position. The 1/2 inch diameter provides sufficient water pressure for most garden tasks such as spraying, washing, and general garden maintenance. This hose size fits standard taps and spray nozzles that you find in Dutch garden centres.

Galvanised steel for durability
The galvanised steel frame offers long-lasting protection against rust and corrosion, even with regular outdoor use. The drum diameter of 300 mm ensures your hose isn't wound too tightly, which benefits the hose's lifespan. The two wheels with a special profile make it easy to move the reel when it's full.

Practical usage tip
When buying a hose, make sure you choose a 1/2 inch hose that is suitable for this reel. The swivel hose connection prevents the hose from twisting while it's being wound, which makes rewinding smoother. Place the reel on a flat surface for stable operation of the plastic hand crank.
