When do you choose this product?
What is this drawing and painting paper used for?
CANSON gouache paper has been specially developed for working with gouache paint and other opaque paints. You need this paper when you work with watercolour or tempera that requires a sturdy surface able to absorb moisture well without warping or cracking.
Why choose this 320×240 mm size?
This compact size of 320×240 mm is ideal for studies, sketches and smaller artworks. It offers enough space for detailed work without having to use a full sheet for experiments or exercises.
What does the paper weight of 370 g/m² mean?
At 370 grams per square metre, this paper has a sturdy thickness that withstands damp painting techniques. The weight keeps the paper flat while you paint and prevents the paint from soaking through to the surface beneath.
Practical tip for use
This CANSON gouache paper works best with opaque paints such as gouache, tempera and acrylic. Thanks to the white colour, your colours come out bright and vivid. Store unused sheets dry and flat to prevent creasing. The pack contains 6 sheets, enough for several projects or for trying out different techniques.
