This sketch pad with a linen texture is ideal for oil paint and oil pastels. Acid-free and fade-resistant paper ensures your work stays beautiful for years, while the bleed protection prevents stains.
When do you choose this product?
What does this sketch pad do and when do you need it?
This Canson Figueras sketch pad has been specially developed for oil paint and oil pastels. The paper has a linen texture that offers a fine, even surface for a pleasant working experience.
Why this A2 format is the right choice
With dimensions of 420×594 mm, this sketch pad offers plenty of space for extensive paintings and studies. The A2 format gives you the freedom to work out both detailed studies and larger compositions. Thanks to the long-side glued binding, all 10 sheets stay firmly attached to one another while you work.
Bleed prevention for optimal results
The most important feature of this paper is the bleed barrier – a special layer that prevents oil or grease from seeping through to the sheets underneath. This means you can apply multiple layers of paint and work intensively with oil paint or oil pastels without worry. The 290 g/m² paper is sturdy enough to bear the heavier consistency of the paint.
Practical storage and durability
The paper is acid-free and resistant to ageing, which means your artworks will retain their quality for a long time. Store the pad flat and dry to keep the linen texture in optimal condition. Thanks to the long-side binding, you can easily flip the pad open and have a stable working surface while painting.
