This handy sketchbook is one you'll want to take everywhere! The creamy paper is perfect for pencil, charcoal or pastel, and thanks to the sturdy spiral binding and back cover you can draw effortlessly on the go.
When do you choose this product?
When should you use a sketchbook with rough paper?
A sketchbook is indispensable when you want to draw on the go or make studies for larger artworks. This sketchbook is specifically designed for dry drawing and sketching techniques. The spiral binding allows you to lay the book completely flat or fold it back, which is handy in tight spaces or while travelling.
Why A5 format is the practical choice
The A5 format offers the perfect balance between drawing space and portability. You have enough room for detailed sketches, yet the book still fits easily into a backpack or bag. With 80 sheets, you also get plenty of pages for a long-term project or several drawing sessions.
The rough paper makes all the difference
The light cream-coloured paper has a rough texture that provides excellent grip for pencil, charcoal, chalk, Conté and pastel. This roughness helps the drawing materials adhere better and gives you more control over hatching and shading techniques. The paper weight of 90 g/m² prevents the paper from tearing when using dry media intensively.
Practical tip for optimal use
The very sturdy back cover acts as a firm surface, so you can also draw without a table or easel. This makes the sketchbook ideal for outdoor drawing or sketching on public transport. Store the book with the front cover facing down to protect the spiral binding, and never turn more than a few pages at a time.
