When do you choose this product?
What are bicolour watercolour pencils?
These CARAN D'ACHE SWISSCOLOR BICOLOR pencils are unique drawing tools in which each pencil contains two different colours. With 6 pencils you get access to 12 different colours, which is ideal for creative projects where you want plenty of variety without buying a large set. The colours are water-soluble, so you can apply both dry drawing techniques and watercolour techniques.
Why choose this bicolour variant?
The bicolour system offers practical benefits when drawing and colouring. You can quickly switch between related colours without constantly reaching for other pencils. The colour combinations are thoughtfully composed: from primary combinations such as yellow/orange to complementary pairs such as white/black and brown tones such as brown/grey.
Sturdy quality for intensive use
These pencils are made from cedarwood with a hexagonal shape, which provides a comfortable grip and prevents rolling away. The soft yet resistant lead has a diameter of 2.8 mm, allowing you to create both fine details and broad areas of colour. The cedarwood makes sharpening easy without breaking.
Practical storage and colour overview
The set comes in a cardboard case that keeps the pencils neatly in place. The colours are: yellow/orange, scarlet red/violet, light blue/gentian blue, yellow green/emerald green, brown/grey and white/black. This provides a good basis for various drawing and painting projects, from landscapes to portraits.
