When do you choose this product?
When do you use coarse-grain drawing paper?
Coarse-grain drawing paper is specially developed for dry drawing media such as charcoal, pastel chalk and graphite. The textured surface ensures that the medium adheres well to the paper and gives your drawings more texture and depth. You choose this type of paper when you want to create artistic drawings where the grain of the paper contributes to the desired effect.
Why this size of 240×320 mm?
At a size of 240×320 mm, this drawing paper offers sufficient working space for detailed drawings without becoming unwieldy. This size is ideal for portraits, studies and smaller artworks. It fits well on a drawing table and is easy to store in a folder or portfolio.
The advantage of 180 g/m² paper weight
The paper weight of 180 g/m² provides a sturdy base that does not crease easily while you draw. This weight is heavy enough to support multiple layers of drawing material without the paper sagging or tearing. At the same time, the paper remains flexible enough for various drawing techniques.
Practical tip for storage
You receive 12 sheets plus 3 extra free, giving a total of 15 sheets. Store unused sheets flat in a dry environment to prevent creasing. The Clairefontaine brand is known for its colour fastness, so your drawings retain their quality over time when you store them protected.
