An ideal starter set for getting to know COPIC markers! The pastel colours blend beautifully and dry quickly, perfect for your first illustrations and sketches.
When do you choose this product?
What does this product do?
COPIC Ciao markers are professional pens specially developed for layouts, sketching and illustrating. This starter set introduces you to the world of alcohol-based markers, which are popular with designers, illustrators and creative professionals. The pastel colour combination makes this set ideal for beginners who want to experiment with soft, subtle shades.
Why choose this specific set?
This Layer & Mix set contains exactly three carefully selected pastel shades: YR-20 Yellowish Shade, BG-01 Acqua Blue and BV-00 Mauve Shadow. These colours were chosen specifically because they work well together and allow you to practise the basic techniques of colour mixing. The set comes with a DIN A5 marker pad, so you can start straight away without buying any extra materials.
Dual functionality in one marker
Each COPIC Ciao marker has two different tips: a medium-fine tip for detailed work and lines, and a brush tip for filling areas and colour gradients. This dual function means that with three markers you effectively have six different ways to use them, which increases the versatility of your creative work.
Practical benefits of an alcohol base
The alcohol-based ink ensures that the markers dry quickly and, on suitable paper, do not bleed through. It's important to know that the colours can be mixed with one another, so you can create new shades by layering the markers over each other. Always use dedicated marker paper or the pad provided for the best results and to prevent bleeding.

Dex knows - user tips
The alcohol-based ink dries quickly, but please use these markers in a well-ventilated room. If the ink comes into contact with your skin or eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.
