What are COPIC markers and when do you need them?
COPIC markers are professional alcohol-based drawing markers, mainly used for illustrations, manga drawings, architectural sketches and graphic design. Because of their alcohol base, they dry quickly and can be blended with each other to create smooth colour transitions. They are ideal when you want professional results for colouring and sketching.

Why this set of 72 pieces is the right choice
This classic set 3 contains a carefully selected range of 72 colours that cover a broad spectrum of applications. You get a well-balanced mix of warm and cool shades, from soft pastel tones to deeper, saturated colours. With 72 markers you have enough variety to work out complex colour schemes without constantly having to buy new markers.

Refillable and durable system
The main advantage of these COPIC markers is that they are refillable with Various Ink refill fluids. This means you don't have to throw away the entire marker when the ink runs out; you can simply top it up. This makes them cost-effective in the long run, especially with intensive use. The alcohol base ensures that the colours do not fade and remain consistent.

Practical tip for optimal use
Make sure you always store COPIC markers horizontally to prevent them from drying out. The markers can be blended with each other, so experiment with colour transitions by working the wet ink before it dries. Keep the colour codes printed on each marker - these correspond to the official COPIC colour system, so you can later refill or top up exactly the same shades.
