When do you choose this product?
When do you need alcohol-based layout markers?
COPIC sketch markers are professional layout markers for design, illustration and creative projects. The alcohol base ensures quick drying and prevents the paper from curling, making them ideal for professional drawing work and graphic design.
Why choose the 12-piece basic set?
This set contains 12 carefully selected basic colours that form a good starting point for a wide range of projects. The colour codes 100/B14/B29/B39/E09/G17/R08/RV11/V09/Y13/YG03/YR04 cover important colour groups, so you can get started straight away without having to select individual markers.
Two tips for maximum flexibility
Each marker has two different tips: a medium tip for controlled lines and areas, and a brush tip for artistic effects and colour blends. This combination gives you the flexibility to create both technical drawings and artistic illustrations with the same tool.
Sustainable thanks to refillability
The markers can be refilled with COPIC Various Ink refills, so you can keep using them for years. In addition, the shades can be blended with one another, allowing you to create new colour variations by combining different markers. This makes the investment in COPIC markers cost-effective for regular users.

Dex knows - user tips
If you've been using the markers after a longer break, put the nib on paper first and wait until the ink flows evenly before you start colouring. As the ink is alcohol-based, it's best to use the markers in a well-ventilated room and keep them away from open flames.
