Fun craft set for children aged 6 and up, complete with a papier-mâché figure, decorative paper, glue and a brush. Everything is included, so they can start cutting, gluing and decorating straight away.
When do you choose this product?
What does this product do?
This décopatch set offers a complete craft activity in which you decorate a papier-mâché reindeer figure with decorative paper. It is a creative pastime suitable for children from 6 years old and helps develop fine motor skills and creativity.
Why this complete 5-piece set?
You get everything you need in one package: the papier-mâché figure, 2 sheets of decorative paper, glue and a brush. This means you can get started straight away without having to buy extra materials. The set has been specially put together to help you learn the décopatch process.
Suitable from 6 years old
This age recommendation was deliberately chosen because children from this age have the manual dexterity needed to work with the small pieces of paper and glue. They can independently master the decoration technique, learning step by step how to apply paper correctly and smooth it out.
Practical tip for the best result
Use the supplied brush to apply the glue evenly and to work out air bubbles. Tear the decorative paper into small pieces rather than cutting it - this gives a more natural effect where the edges overlap. Let each layer dry thoroughly before applying the next.
