What does this HDMI extender set do?
This DIGITUS extender set lets you transmit HDMI signals over long distances via a network cable. Perfect when you want to connect an Ultra HD 4K display at a distance of 120 to 200 metres from your source, such as a computer, media player or other HDMI equipment. It is indispensable in large offices, presentation rooms or when your equipment is located on different floors.
Why IP technology over CAT 6?
This set uses IP transmission technology over CAT 6 network cables, which is far more reliable than long HDMI cables. At distances above 15 metres, standard HDMI cables begin to show signal loss, but with this extender you get stable transmission up to 200 metres. You simply use your existing network infrastructure or lay a single CAT 6 cable.
Maintaining Ultra HD 4K quality
The extender supports full Ultra HD 4K resolution up to 4,096 x 2,160 pixels at 60 Hz. This means you experience no loss of quality compared with a direct HDMI connection. You get the same sharp, smooth picture as if your device were connected directly, even over a long distance.
Complete set with useful extras
You receive a transmitter unit, receiver unit, two power supply units with EU plugs, and IR cables for remote control. The IR function is useful because you can still operate your source device from the remote location. Each unit measures 94 x 97 x 24 mm, so they are compact enough to tuck away without taking up much space.
