Effortlessly extend your DS-55348 extender set with additional displays via fibre optic. In this way, you drive 4K video and KVM signals over long distances without any loss of quality.
When do you choose this product?
What does this product do?
This DIGITUS KVM receiver allows you to operate your computer remotely via fibre optic connection. KVM stands for Keyboard, Video and Mouse - so you can place your keyboard, screen and mouse at a great distance from your computer. This is useful when your computer needs to be in another room, floor or even building while you want to work elsewhere.
Why choose this fibre optic variant?
Fibre optic provides a stable connection over extremely long distances of up to 40,000 metres without loss of quality. Unlike copper cables, you don't suffer from electromagnetic interference or signal degradation. This makes this receiver ideal for industrial environments, large office buildings or situations where your computer and workstation need to be far apart.
4K Ultra HD picture quality
The receiver supports HDTV resolutions up to 3,840 x 2,160 pixels, which corresponds to the 4K Ultra HD standard. This means you retain sharp, clear images despite the large distance between computer and monitor. You lose no picture quality due to the fibre optic connection.
Expansion of existing system
This product is specifically designed as an expansion for the Extender Set DS-55348 to connect multiple displays. You therefore need the basic set DS-55348 before you can use this receiver. The receiver is supplied with wall-mounting material and has compact dimensions of 103 x 106 x 26 mm, making it easy to tuck away.
