The cable has S/FTP shielding: each pair is wrapped in aluminium-laminated polyester foil (100% coverage) and all pairs together are enclosed in tinned copper braid (35% coverage).

The 100 metres of this cable are supplied on a reel. Longer lengths of 500 m and 1,000 m are supplied on a wooden cable drum. The cable is orange (RAL 2000) and has an outer diameter of 7.5 mm.
