Effortlessly bridge distances of up to 150 metres with this handy USB extender. Via a Cat.6 network cable, you can connect up to 4 USB devices at a considerable distance from your PC, without any loss of speed.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need a USB extender with network cable?
This DIGITUS USB extender solves the problem when you need to connect USB devices at a great distance from your computer. Unlike ordinary USB cables, which quickly suffer signal loss, this system uses a network cable to transmit USB signals over long distances. This is ideal for situations where, for example, you need to place a webcam, printer or other USB equipment far from your workstation.
Why choose this 4-port model?
With 4 USB 2.0 ports, you can connect multiple devices at once without needing extra hubs. The transfer speed of up to 480 Mbps is sufficient for most office equipment such as printers, scanners and input devices. The compact size of 60 x 76 x 21 mm takes up little space on your desk or at the end location.
Impressive range of up to 150 metres
The greatest advantage of this extender is the ability to transmit USB signals over distances of up to 150 metres. This opens up possibilities that are impossible with standard USB cables, such as operating equipment in other rooms or on other floors. The connection remains stable because it uses a network cable instead of long USB cables, which are susceptible to interference.
Please note: network cable sold separately
For installation, you need a Cat.6 network cable, which is not supplied with the extender. Make sure you purchase this separately in the required length. The extender is powered via a Eurostecker, so you will need a power socket at the location where you want to use the USB ports.
