Effortlessly bridge large distances between your USB device and computer, up to 50 metres via a standard Cat.5/5e/6 cable. Handy for printers, cameras or scanners that are just a bit too far from your PC.
When do you choose this product?
What does a USB 2.0 extension set do?
This DIGITUS USB extension set solves the problem when you want to place USB devices at a considerable distance from your computer. Instead of a standard USB cable, this system uses a network cable to carry USB signals over long distances. This is useful for USB devices that you cannot place directly next to your computer.
Why a 50-metre range is the right choice
With a range of 50 metres, you can place USB devices at a considerable distance from your computer, for example in another room.
Practical installation with Cat.5/5e/6 cables
You need an existing Cat.5, Cat.5e or Cat.6 network cable to connect the transmitter and receiver. The package includes a transmitter, a receiver and a manual.
