What does this product do and when do you need it?
This USB 3.2 Gen1 extender solves the problem of USB cables that are too short between your computer and peripherals. It transmits USB signals over a Cat.6A network cable across distances of up to 100 metres. This is ideal for office environments where you need to place USB devices at a distance, such as printers in another room or external hard drives in a server rack.

Why choose this 4-port variant?
With 3x USB-A 3.2 Gen1 and 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen1 ports, you can connect four different USB devices at the same time. This combination of classic USB-A and modern USB-C connections makes the device suitable for both older and newer peripherals. So you don't have to choose which device to connect – they can all work at the same time.

Speed and performance
The transfer speed of 5 Gbps means you won't notice any appreciable difference compared with a direct connection to your computer. This is sufficient for most office needs such as printing, scanning and access to external storage devices. The signal amplification takes place without any loss of quality over the full 100-metre distance.

Practical installation tip
For the connection, you need a Cat.6A network cable between the extender and your computer. Make sure your network cable is of good quality and no longer than 100 metres. The compact size of 76 x 85 x 25 mm fits easily on a desk or can be tucked away in a cupboard. Test the connection first before making the final set-up.
