New to table tennis? This bat gives you all the control you need to develop your technique, without the ball ever surprising you. The 5-ply sperrenhout (Sperrholz) blade gives a firm, reliable feel with every stroke.
When do you choose this product?
For Beginners Who Want to Learn Control
This table tennis bat from the Champs Line 400 series has been specially developed for players who are just starting out in table tennis. You need this bat if you want to master the basic techniques without the bat reacting too aggressively to your shots. The 5-ply sperrenhout (5-ply Sperrholz/plywood) core provides a stable feel during play.
Why This Control-Focused Set-Up
With ratings of Speed 40 out of 100, Spin 40 out of 100 and, above all, Control 80 out of 100, the focus is clearly on control. This means you are less likely to hit uncontrollable balls and have more time to develop your stroke technique. The jade rubber with a smooth surface and pips on the inside gives predictable ball behaviour.
What the 1.5 mm Sponge Does
The 1.5 mm thick sponge under the rubber provides a moderate pace and dampens extreme effects. This gives you, as a beginner, more control over the ball and prevents balls from flying off too hard by accident. The sponge offers just enough feel to distinguish between different strokes.
Suitable for Recreational Use
This bat is perfect for learning table tennis techniques in a leisure setting or at a club. Thanks to its control-focused properties, you can concentrate on learning the correct movements without the equipment getting in the way. The 5-ply sperrenhout core offers sufficient stability for regular use.
