What do these document sleeves do and when do you need them?

Document sleeves protect loose sheets, forms or certificates against wear, moisture and dirt. You use them when you want to store or present documents in a ring binder or multi-ring folder, without the contents being handled directly or damaged. The A5 format is ideally suited to smaller documents such as notes, recipes, instruction cards or half-size forms.

Material thickness: what does 50 micron mean?

The sleeves are made of PP (polypropylene) with a thickness of 0.05 mm, also known as 50 micron. This is a common thickness for document sleeves used regularly: sturdy enough to handle easily, yet flexible enough to slide documents in and out with ease. The granulated (embossed) transparent finish keeps the contents legible, while the sleeve itself is slightly less prone to fingerprints than a fully glossy variant.

Practical tip: compatibility with folders

The sleeves are open at the top, so you can easily insert and remove documents. Thanks to the Euro-punching, they fit any standard ring binder or multi-ring folder with universal ring mechanisms. With 100 pieces per pack, you have enough stock for a larger archive or for shared use in the office. When purchasing, check that your folder is suitable for A5 sleeves, as not all folders are designed for this format.
