What are ink pencils and when do you use them?
Ink pencils combine the precision of a pencil with the intensity of ink. You use them for drawing, illustration, calligraphy and artistic projects where you want to create both fine details and broad strokes. These Pitt Artist pencils from Faber-Castell have been specially developed for creative applications.

Why choose the brush tip variant?
The brush tip gives you maximum flexibility when drawing. By varying the pressure, you can create everything from thin lines to broad areas with a single pencil. This flexible tip mimics a real paintbrush, allowing you to create smooth transitions and expressive strokes that are impossible with a regular tip.

Permanent and lightfast properties
These ink pencils contain pigmented drawing ink that is permanent and waterproof. Once dry, your work will not be affected by water or moisture. The high lightfastness ensures that your colours do not fade, even after prolonged exposure to light. Moreover, they are odourless and acid-free, which is important for durable artworks.

Practical set with basic colours
This set contains 12 pencils in basic colours, giving you all the fundamental colour tones at your disposal. You can mix and combine these colours to create more complex shades. Store the pencils horizontally to keep the brush tip in optimal shape, and always replace the cap after use to prevent drying out.
