These jumbo colouring pencils sit comfortably in small hands thanks to the triangular shape with grip nubs. The soft, thick lead draws smoothly in four cheerful pastel colours and is dermatologically tested, so your child can get started without worries.
When do you choose this product?
What are ergonomic jumbo colouring pencils?
These Faber-Castell colouring pencils are specially designed for small children's hands. The jumbo version, with a 10 mm thick lead, makes them ideal for toddlers and preschoolers who are still learning to draw and colour. Because of their size, they sit comfortably in small hands and are less likely to break.
Why choose the triangular shape?
The ergonomic triangular shape provides a natural pencil grip and prevents cramping of the fingers. The grip nubs on the sides give extra purchase, so the pencils don't slip out of small hands. This helps children gain more control over their drawing and colouring movements.
Soft lead for young artists
These pencils have a soft jumbo lead that has been specially developed for children. This means they can easily lay down colour without much pressure. The soft lead is less likely to snap than harder varieties, which prevents frustration while drawing and ensures a longer lifespan.
Safe pastel colours for everyday use
The set contains four pastel colours: pastel pink, pastel violet, pastel green and pastel blue. These soft shades are dermatologically tested and therefore safe for children's skin. Store the pencils upright in a pencil holder or flat in a box to protect the tips and extend their lifespan.
