When do you choose this product?
When do you need India ink pens?
India ink pens are ideal for drawing, illustrating and hand lettering where you want permanent results. This Faber-Castell PITT artist pen set is specially put together for work in greyscale, allowing you to create different shading effects and depth in your artwork.
Why a greyscale set?
This 8-piece set gives you a complete range of greys, from light to dark. This allows you to create subtle transitions and add realistic shadow effects to your drawings. The greyscale collection is perfect for those who want to focus on form, texture and contrast without the distraction of colour.
Permanent and lightfast properties
The India ink pens contain pigment ink that is waterproof and permanent once dry. This means your work will not fade on contact with water and remains lightfast over time. The ink is also odourless and acid-free, which is important for the durability of your artwork and for comfortable working.
Practical tip for use
These India ink pens are excellent for hand lettering projects where you want to combine different shades of grey. Always start with the lightest tone and work towards the darker ones. Because of the permanent nature of the ink, you cannot rub out mistakes, so practise on a separate sheet first before starting on your final piece.
