This PITT Graphite Matt set takes your drawing to a new level. The eight pencils, from HB to 14B, produce a soft, matt graphite trace with minimal light reflection on paper, so every shadow and tone comes out exactly right.
When do you choose this product?
What does this product do?
This Faber-Castell PITT Graphite Matt pencil set has been specially developed for artistic applications where you place great value on matt graphite strokes without any shine. The pencils are made for artists who want professional results with an extremely matt finish that minimises reflections on paper.
Why choose this particular set?
With 8 pencils in different degrees of hardness from HB to 14B, you get a complete range for all shading effects. The HB, 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B, 10B, 12B and 14B grades cover both light lines and very dark shadows. This makes the set ideal for realistic portraits, landscapes and other artworks where a wide tonal range is essential.
Matt graphite finish as an advantage
What makes these pencils special is the extremely matt graphite formula, which reduces reflection on paper. This means your drawings won't acquire unwanted shine, which is especially important for artworks that are photographed or scanned. The soft, matt graphite also delivers a high tonal density, allowing you to achieve deeper blacks.
Practical advantages
The pencils are sealed with water-based lacquer and made extra break-resistant, which means they last longer during intensive use. Besides the 8 pencils, the set also includes accessories that support the drawing process. The combination of durability and professional performance makes this set suitable for both art academies and professional artists.
