Six pencils, six different degrees of hardness: from HB to 8B you have the right pencil at hand for every sketch or drawing. The break-resistant lead and the handy metal case make this set a welcome addition to your desk.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need different pencil grades?
These CASTELL 9000 pencils are ideal when you work with drawings, sketches or technical designs that require different line widths and shading. With six different grades, from HB to 8B, you can vary from hard, precise lines to soft, dark hatching.
Why this specific grade range?
This set contains the grades HB, B, 2B, 4B, 6B and 8B - a carefully composed selection that is especially suitable for artistic work. The harder HB is perfect for preliminary sketches and details, while the softer grades such as 6B and 8B create deep shadows and expressive lines.
Durability through special bonding
What sets these pencils apart is the special bonding technique that prevents the graphite lead from breaking. The hexagonal shape ensures that the pencil doesn't roll off your drawing table and sits comfortably in your hand during prolonged use. The green water-based lacquer finish protects the wood against moisture.
Practical storage in metal case
The included metal case keeps your pencils organised and protected. You can easily recognise each pencil by the grade printed on it, so you can quickly pick up the right pencil while working without having to search.
