When do you choose this product?
When do you need these manga drawing pens?
This Faber-Castell PITT artist pen set is specially put together for drawing manga in the Shôjo style, a popular manga genre aimed at young women. The 6 drawing pens contain pigment ink that is perfectly suited to detailed illustrations and hand lettering projects. You choose this set when you want to create authentic manga artwork or develop your drawing skills in this specific style.
Why exactly this Manga Shôjo variant?
The Shôjo genre is characterised by romantic storylines and expressive characters with large eyes and delicate details. This particular colour selection of 6 pens is tailored to the soft, often romantic colours typical of Shôjo manga. The set gives you a well-balanced basis to bring out the characteristic style elements of this genre.
Permanent and lightfast properties
The drawing pens contain high-quality pigment ink that is waterproof and permanent. This means your drawings won't fade or bleed, even when in contact with water. The ink is also highly lightfast, so your artwork keeps its original colours for years. The acid-free and odourless composition makes long drawing sessions comfortable.
Practical application tip
These pens combine well with various paper types, from regular drawing paper to special manga paper. For the best results, use the pens on smooth to lightly textured paper. The permanent properties also make them suitable for mixed media projects where you combine different materials.

Dex knows - user tips
The ink in these markers is waterproof and permanent — let it dry thoroughly after use before touching or overwriting the paper, otherwise you will smudge the lines.
