When do you choose this product?
When do you need a shredder?
You use a shredder to safely destroy confidential documents before throwing them away. This prevents personal data, financial information or trade secrets from falling into the wrong hands. The Fellowes Powershred P-42C is suitable for home use and small offices where documents need to be destroyed regularly.
Why choose this format?
With a capacity of 8 sheets at a time and a 15-litre waste bin, you get a good balance between ease of use and storage capacity. You can destroy several documents in one go without having to empty the bin constantly. The 220 mm working width means standard A4 documents pass through the machine without any problems.
Security level P-4/T-4 explained
This shredder has security level P-4/T-4, which means documents are cut into small particles of 4 x 34 mm. This level offers more security than basic shredders and is suitable for destroying sensitive personal and business information. It meets the requirements for safely destroying documents containing confidential data.
Practical features
In addition to paper, this device also shreds credit cards, staples and paper clips, so you don't need to prepare your documents beforehand. The safety cut-off switch ensures the machine stops automatically if problems occur. With dimensions of 329 x 189 x 369 mm, the device fits easily under a desk or in an office corner.
