When do you choose this product?
When do you need a puncture-resistant bicycle tyre?
Choose a puncture-resistant bicycle tyre if you regularly cycle through areas where broken glass, nails or thorns lie on the road. This FISCHER tyre has a special protective layer that guards you against the most common causes of punctures. Perfect for daily commuting or recreational cycling where you don't want to be constantly busy with repairs.
Why this 28 inch size?
This tyre fits 28 inch wheels according to the ETRTO standard 42-622 and is compatible with tyres from 28 x 1⅝ to 1.75 inch. You can use it on rims 17-23 mm wide, which covers most standard bicycles. The dimensions of 28 x 1.6 inch (71.12 x 4.06 cm) make this a versatile choice for different types of bicycles.
How does the puncture protection work?
The schutzeinlage forms an extra protective layer inside the tyre that prevents sharp objects such as broken glass, nails and thorns from damaging your inner tube. This technology significantly reduces the risk of punctures without affecting riding comfort. You keep riding smoothly, but with greater peace of mind.
Extra visibility and compatibility
The reflective stripes on the sides of the tyre improve your visibility in the dark. Before fitting, check that your rim width is between 17-23 mm and that your current tyre falls within the ETRTO range 35-45-622. You can usually find these specifications on the side of your current tyre.
