Make your own rainbow lantern with this complete craft kit, including lantern pole, transparent paper, LED light and even the batteries. A fun craft project for children, ready to carry along straight away!
When do you choose this product?
What does this craft kit do?
With this DIY foil lantern kit, you make your own complete rainbow lantern. The set is intended for one lantern and contains everything you need to get started and finish the project: you don't have to buy anything extra yourself.
Who is this set suitable for?
This is a craft kit that guides you step by step through building a lantern. The box contains a lantern stick, a cheese box mould as a base shape, a sheet of transparent paper cut to size, one metre of bake cord, an LED decorative light, an adhesive strip and batteries. Because all the parts are already pre-cut and included, the set is also suitable for those with less crafting experience.
Honest about the end result
The lantern is built around a cheese box shape, which you cover with the supplied transparent paper in rainbow colours. The LED light provides illumination from the inside, so the colours glow nicely without you needing a real candle. Because it is a decorative LED light, the lantern is safe for children to use.
Practical tip
The batteries for the LED light are already included with the set, so you can start straight away without a trip to the shop. Use the bake cord to attach the lantern to the stick, so you can carry it or hang it up. If you want to make several lanterns, for example for a school party or a Saint Martin's procession, keep in mind that this set is intended for exactly one lantern, so order the number of sets accordingly.
