What are lantern blanks and when do you use them?
Lantern blanks are pre-shaped cardboard templates that make it easy to create lanterns without complicated cutting or measuring. You mainly need them for school craft projects, Saint Martin's Day, Christmas activities or other occasions where you want to make several lanterns quickly.

Why choose this square format?
These square lantern blanks, measuring 100×100×120 mm, are ideal for beginners and children because they are compact and easy to handle. The size is large enough to make a lovely lantern, but not so big that small hands struggle with it. The square design also assembles stably.

Sturdy cardboard that holds its shape
The cardboard has a weight of 400 grams per square metre, which provides sufficient sturdiness without the material becoming too heavy. This weight means your lantern keeps its shape well, even if children handle it a bit roughly. The cardboard is thick enough to let light shine through beautifully without tearing easily.

Handy colour mix for group activities
You get five different colours: yellow, red, green, dark blue and black. This colour mix is perfect for group projects where each child can choose a different colour, or when you want to make a colourful series of lanterns. The system works by slotting the parts together, so you don't need glue or staples to assemble the lantern.
