When do you choose this product?
What does this product do?
This mini crochet kit from folia contains everything you need to make a crocheted dog (Sausage Dog) on your own. The kit includes a crochet hook, cotton yarn in 3 colours, polyester toy filling, stitch markers, a yarn needle and safety eyes. Handy if you're looking for a compact, all-in-one crochet project without having to gather loose materials together.
Why this works as a starter kit
The kit is tailored to one specific figure, so you don't need to think about yarn choice, quantities or which hook goes with which yarn. The supplied stitch markers help you keep track of rounds while crocheting amigurumi, which is especially useful with a detailed figure such as a dog. Because the yarn, filling and accessories are matched in the right quantities for this project, you won't run out of materials halfway through.
Cotton yarn and safety eyes
The yarn is cotton, which gives a sturdy, slightly firm stitch that holds its shape well in amigurumi figures. The safety eyes are black and have a diameter of 6 mm; these eyes click into place so they don't come loose, which is important if the soft toy is going to be used by children, for example. When attaching them, however, be sure to check the eye
