Make your own cute sloth with this complete folia mini crochet set! Everything is included: crochet hook, cotton crochet yarn in assorted colours, toy filling, stitch markers and safety eyes. Ideal for beginners who want to learn to crochet.
When do you choose this product?
What is this crochet kit and who is it intended for?
The folia Mini crochet kit SLOTH is a compact starter set for crocheting a small sloth figure (amigurumi style). The set contains everything you need to get started straight away, without having to look for separate materials. This makes it an accessible kit for beginners or for anyone looking for a fun creative project for children.
What's in the box?
The set contains one crochet hook, five balls of cotton crochet yarn in assorted colours, 7 grams of polyester toy stuffing, three stitch markers, one embroidery needle, two safety eyes and an instruction leaflet. Because all the essentials are packed together, you won't need to buy anything extra to finish the sloth figure.
An honest look at the yarn
The crochet yarn in this set is made of cotton. Cotton yarn is sturdy and holds its shape well, which is handy when crocheting small 3D figures where neat stitches are important. As the colours are assorted, the specific shades cannot be chosen in advance — the combination has been set by the manufacturer and suits the sloth motif.
Practical tip for use
Before you start, check whether the enclosed instructions provide enough detail for your level; for more complex amigurumi techniques, extra guidance from an online video can be a helpful addition. The safety eyes are intended for decorative use on the figure, but please note that small parts such as these are not suitable for children under three years old without adult supervision.
