What is pricking and when do you need it?
Pricking is a creative technique in which you make small holes in paper with a special needle to create beautiful patterns and figures. You use it for making greeting cards, decorations or as a relaxing hobby activity. This technique is popular with both children and adults who enjoy precision work.

Why is this format practical?
This set works with the A6 format of 105×148 mm, which is perfect for cards and small projects. This compact size is handy because you can make standard cards with it that fit in ordinary envelopes. It is large enough for detailed designs, yet small enough to finish projects quickly.

Complete starter set for beginners
The 8-piece set contains everything you need to start straight away: a pricking pen, a felt mat and six different templates with motifs. The felt mat protects your table and provides the right resistance while pricking. With six different templates, you have enough variety to try out different techniques.

Practical tip for use
Always use the supplied felt mat under your work so the pricking pen penetrates properly without damaging your work surface. The templates are reusable, so you can use the same motifs multiple times. Keep the complete set together in a box so you don't lose anything and always have everything to hand for a creative moment.
