What does a binding machine do, and when do you need one?
A binding machine such as the GBC CombBind 100 creates professional documents by punching holes in paper and binding them with plastic comb bindings. You need one when you regularly produce reports, presentations or manuals that should look neat and be easy to read.

Why choose this compact A4/A3 variant?
This machine handles up to A4 format and can process A3 paper in portrait orientation, which is ideal for offices with limited space. With a binding capacity of 160 sheets, you can create substantial documents without the machine taking up much room on your desk.

Manual operation for full control
The CombBind 100 operates entirely by hand using a punching lever, so you can determine exactly how much pressure you apply. You can punch 9 sheets at a time through the 21 punching holes. This manual operation does mean that thicker documents need to be punched several times, but it gives you complete control over the process.

Compatible with comb bindings up to 19 mm
The machine works with plastic comb bindings up to a maximum diameter of 19 mm, which is sufficient for documents of up to 160 pages. The separate comb opener makes it easy to open the bindings and insert your punched sheets. Please make sure you buy comb bindings suitable for 21-ring punching.
