Why is this kit for ages 8 and up?
The age recommendation of 8 years and older ensures that children have developed the fine motor skills needed to work safely with wax. At this age, they can follow the instructions independently and understand the basic techniques of candle making. The kit offers just the right challenge for this age group.
Complete equipment for candle making
The kit contains everything you need: 4 tealights, 2 deep-fill trays, 2 bags of candle wax, 6 wax crayons for colour, 6 wicks and a bowl for melting. For decoration, you get 13 cookie-cutter moulds, 2 wax sheets and 2 tubes of sequins. This complete set means you can start straight away without buying any extra materials.
Practical tip for crafting
Make sure you have a well-ventilated room and lay newspaper under your work area. You can use the tealights in the kit to gently melt the candle wax in the bowl provided. Start with small amounts of wax and gradually add more as you experiment with the different moulds and decorative materials.
