This set of 12 colourful watercolour paints mixes effortlessly with one another, so you can create your own new shades. Quick-drying and lightfast, ideal for both sketches and finished artworks at the office or at home.
When do you choose this product?
What watercolour paint does and when you need it
Watercolour paint is ideal for creating transparent, flowing artworks in which water serves as the thinning agent. You use this paint when you want to create delicate colour gradients, paint landscapes or make illustrations with a soft, translucent finish.
Why a set of 12 colours is the right choice
This set contains precisely the basic colours you need to mix all other shades. With white, yellow, orange, red, magenta, cobalt blue, cerulean blue, light green, dark green, light ochre, burnt sienna and black, you have a complete colour palette. The 12 ml tubes provide enough paint for multiple projects without unnecessary waste.
Advantages of a water base and quick drying time
Thanks to the water base, you can easily thin the paint with water and achieve that characteristic translucent watercolour effect. The quick drying process means you can continue quickly with subsequent layers, without having to wait long. The paint is lightfast, so your artworks will keep their colours.
Practical tip for optimal use
All colours in this set are mixable with one another, which means you can experiment endlessly with new colour shades. Always start with the lightest colours and work towards the darker ones. Store the tubes upright and close them properly to prevent them from drying out. Thanks to the water base, you can easily clean brushes and palettes with water.

Dex knows - user tips
These are water-based acrylic paint bottles, not spray paint — but should you ever spray them through an airbrush, make sure there is good ventilation and do not breathe in the mist. The paint contains a preservative that can cause allergic reactions in sensitive skin; if you work with bare hands, rinse your hands thoroughly with water afterwards.
