Complete printing set to get started with lino printing straight away! With carving tools, printing block and water-based ink, you can easily make your own artworks and stamps.
When do you choose this product?
What is lino printing and when do you need it?
Lino printing is an art technique in which you carve patterns or images into linoleum and then make prints from them. You use this technique for creating handmade artworks, greeting cards, decorations or educational projects at school.
Why choose a complete starter set?
This creative lino printing set contains all the essential parts you need to get started straight away. You receive an A6-sized lino block, three carving tools, a handle for the carving tools, a glass slab, a rubber roller and black printing ink. The A6 size is ideal for beginners because it is manageable and suitable for smaller designs.
Benefits of water-based ink
The lino printing ink in this set is water-based, which offers several practical advantages. The ink is easier to clean from your hands and tools than oil-based ink. Moreover, water-based ink has less strong odours and is more suitable for use indoors or in classrooms.
Practical tip for the best results
Start with simple designs and practise first on a leftover piece of linoleum before making your final design. Use the glass slab to spread the ink evenly with the rubber roller before applying it to your carved linoleum block. Keep the 20 ml tube of ink tightly closed to prevent it from drying out.
