This is why Dex likes this article
With this primer you create magnetic adhesion surfaces on various substrates. It is easy to apply to wood, cardboard, stone or concrete, and thanks to its low-odour formula you can work comfortably indoors.
When do you choose this product?
What does magnetic primer do?
Magnetic primer transforms ordinary surfaces into magnetic adhesion surfaces to which you can attach magnets. The stainless iron powder in the paint ensures that magnets stick to the surface once the paint has dried. This opens up new possibilities for creating practical magnetic walls or decorative surfaces.
Why choose this water-based paint?
This water-based acrylic primer has a creamy, paste-like consistency that covers well and is lightfast. Thanks to the water base, the paint is low-odour during application, which is pleasant to work with indoors. The paint dries to a matt finish that looks natural and does not shine conspicuously.
What can you expect from the magnetic effect?
The stainless iron powder in the paint creates the magnetic properties without any risk of rust formation. The strength of the magnetic hold depends on the thickness of the paint layer and the type of magnet you use. For the best result, several thin coats are usually better than one thick coat.
Which surfaces can you use this paint on?
The paint is suitable for a variety of materials including wood, cardboard, styrofoam, stone and concrete. Make sure the surface is clean, dry and free of grease before you begin. For porous materials such as untreated wood, pre-treatment with primer may be needed to achieve an even result.

Dex knows - user tips
Can you be sensitive to certain preservatives? Then do a small test layer in an inconspicuous spot before you continue. Let each layer dry thoroughly before you test the magnets. The magnetic effect becomes stronger with multiple layers.
