When do you choose this product?
What does this product do?
The LAMY Aquaplus gouache set has been specially developed for creative projects where you need intense, opaque colours. Gouache differs from ordinary watercolour in that it dries completely opaque, so you can also work on dark backgrounds. You use this paint for illustrations, school projects, hobby painting and any situation where you want bright, striking colours that can cover one another.
Why choose 24 colours, exactly?
With 24 different shades, you have an extensive basis for creating almost any colour you desire. This set contains a carefully composed colour palette built according to Johannes Itten's colour theory. This scientific approach gives you colours that harmonise well with one another and are easy to mix into new shades.
High-quality pigment composition
The brilliant colour tones are characterised by their high coverage and intensity. This high-quality paint gives off a lot of colour per quantity, so you can work economically and still achieve vibrant results. The pigments stay bright and do not fade quickly, which is especially important for work you want to keep for a long time.
Practical mixing area in the lid
In the lid you will find 13 separate mixing areas where you can create new colours without contaminating your main colours. The included opaque white of 7.5 ml can be used to lighten colours or to add highlights to your work. Always keep the set tightly closed to prevent it from drying out.
