A piqûre is a French type of register with numbered pages, specially designed for keeping official administration. This Le Dauphin model is specifically intended as a 'Registre d'objets mobiliers', which means you can keep inventory lists of movable goods in it. You use this type of register when you need to keep a chronological and traceable administration.
