Upgrade your PC easily to full surround sound with this USB sound card. Thanks to the built-in Dolby decoder and multiple connections, you can effortlessly switch between 2.0 and 7.1 channels, perfect for gaming and films.
When do you choose this product?
What does this USB sound card do?
An external USB sound card such as this one replaces your computer's built-in sound card. You need this when your computer does not have good audio output, or when you want to connect several audio devices at the same time. The card provides better sound quality and more connection options than what your computer offers as standard.
Why choose 7.1 surround sound?
This sound card supports various modes from 2.0 to 7.1 channels, giving you flexibility in your speaker setup. With 7.1 surround you get the most immersive spatial sound experience, ideal for gaming or films. However, you can also start with a simpler 2.0 or 2.1 setup and expand to full surround sound later.
Simultaneous recording and playback
An important feature of this sound card is that you can record and play back at the same time. This is useful for podcasting, streaming, or editing music while playing other audio. The integrated Dolby decoder ensures that surround sound is processed and reproduced correctly.
Practical connections and compatibility
The sound card offers all the essential connections: headphones, microphone, front, surround, centre, bass and rear speakers, plus S/PDIF input and output for digital audio. Measuring 120 x 75 x 30 mm, the device fits easily on your desk. You connect it via the supplied USB cable. Drivers are available on the enclosed CD.
