This transparent enclosure turns your old 2.5" hard drive into handy external storage. With tool-free assembly and fast USB 3.0 transfers, you instantly gain extra space for your files.
When do you choose this product?
What does this product do?
This SATA enclosure transforms your internal 2.5" hard drive or SSD into an external USB drive. You need this when you want to transfer data from an old laptop, create an additional backup drive, or simply need more external storage space for your computer.
Why this transparent design?
The polycarbonate material gives the enclosure a transparent body, so you can always see which drive is inside. This is handy when you use several external drives and want to quickly identify where your data is stored. The compact size of 79 x 125 x 14 mm makes the enclosure easy to take with you.
Fast data transfer with USB 3.0
With a transfer speed of 5 Gbit per second via USB 3.0, you can copy large files relatively quickly. This means transferring photos, videos and documents takes considerably less time than with older USB standards, especially when working with SSDs that take full advantage of this speed.
Compatibility and installation
This enclosure is suitable for all standard 2.5" SATA hard drives and SSDs with a thickness of 7.5 mm or 9.5 mm. The tool-free design means you don't need a screwdriver to install your drive. The micro-USB B connection and included USB cable ensure direct compatibility with desktop computers and laptops.
