Extend your USB connections up to 50 metres using an ordinary network cable. With 4 extra ports, you gain flexibility in your setup and more connection options for your devices.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need remote USB connections?
This USB 2.0 extension set solves the problem when you want to use USB devices located more than a few metres away from your computer. By using an Ethernet cable, you can transmit USB signals over a distance of up to 50 metres. This is ideal for situations where, for example, you want to place a printer, scanner or other USB devices in a different room from where your computer is.
Why this solution with a 4-port hub?
With four USB-A ports on the receiver, you can use multiple devices remotely at the same time. You don't have to choose between different USB devices; you can connect them all via a single Ethernet connection. This makes it a practical solution for workstations where you want to centralise several USB peripherals.
Reliable transmission up to 480 Mbit per second
The system supports the full USB 2.0 speed of 480 Mbit per second, so you experience no performance loss compared with a direct USB connection. The metal housing provides good shielding against interference, and both units can be wall-mounted for a neat installation.
Plug-and-play compatibility
The system works straight away with Windows XP, 7, Vista, 8, 8.1, 10 and Mac OS without you having to install any additional drivers. You receive a complete set with transmitter, receiver, USB cable and power supply. Make sure you have a standard Ethernet cable to bridge the desired distance between the two units.
