The station supports both M.2 NVMe (PCIe) and SATA (NGFF) SSDs up to 8 TB. You can use M-Key or B+M-Key SSDs in the 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 mm sizes. This means virtually all common M.2 SSDs are compatible, whether they come from a laptop, desktop or server environment.
How fast is the 10 Gbit/s connection?
With USB 3.2 Gen2, this dock reaches a maximum transfer speed of 10 Gbit/s via the USB-C connection. In practice, this means you can copy large files such as videos or backups considerably faster than with older USB standards. The actual speed does depend on the performance of your SSD and computer, however.
Make sure you have the right connection
