When do you choose this product?
What does a desktop ethernet switch do?
A desktop ethernet switch expands the number of wired network ports in your office. If you want to connect more devices than your router can handle, or if you need multiple network connections in one specific location, a switch is the solution. This 8-port model lets you connect eight devices at the same time via ethernet cables.
Why choose this 8-port size?
With 8 ports, you have enough connections for a small to medium-sized workspace. For example, you can connect computers, printers, NAS systems and IP phones all by cable for a stable network connection. The compact size of 150 x 70 x 22 mm easily fits on your desk without taking up much space.
Gigabit speed for smooth data transfer
This switch supports speeds up to 10/100/1000 Mbit per second on all ports, so you can make full use of the gigabit speed of your internet connection. The switch ensures data transfer without delay between connected devices. IGMP V3 support makes it possible to pass IPTV signals efficiently on to multiple devices.
Practical benefits in use
The fanless design ensures silent operation, which is ideal in an office environment. The Auto Negotiation and Auto MDI/MDI-X features mean you can use standard ethernet cables without worrying about special crossover cables. The metal casing offers good protection and heat dissipation for a long device lifespan.
