Robust light grey fibre optic junction box, suitable for use indoors and outdoors. With 4 fold-out splice cassettes and room for up to 96 fibres, you keep your network organised and professional.
When do you choose this product?
What does this junction box do?
The LogiLink Professional FTTX junction box is a fibre optic distribution enclosure that you use to connect, split and protect fibre optic cables in a structured way. You need this product when you are connecting or expanding a fibre optic network and want to bring together and manage the fibres in a fixed, clearly organised location.
When is this size the right choice?
This enclosure offers space for up to 96 fibres, divided over 4 separate splice cassettes of 24 fibres each. That makes the box suitable for medium to large installations, such as a business premises, apartment complex or a node in an FTTX network. If you have a smaller setup, this size is roomier than you need; if you have planned for growth, it gives you the capacity to accommodate that.
Honest about the construction
The 4 splice cassettes are fold-out, which keeps working on individual fibres organised without disturbing the rest of the installation. The enclosure is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, giving you flexibility in where you place it. Please note that the exact IP protection class or UV resistance does not appear in the available specifications; check this if you have doubts about a harsh outdoor environment.
Practical tip: adapters and cable entries
The box accommodates up to 24 LC duplex or SC simplex adapters. So choose in advance which connector type you use in your installation, as both types cannot be fully utilised at the same time. The cable entries are suitable for cables with a diameter of 7 to 14 mm, which matches common fibre optic cables. Check before installation that your cable diameter falls within this range.
