Professional compass with metal legs and a handy protective cap for the point. Draws circles up to 28.4 cm in diameter and comes complete with an adapter ring and refill.
When do you choose this product?
What does this product do?
A compass is indispensable for drawing perfect circles and measuring distances in technical drawing, mathematics and geometry. You need this tool for subjects such as technology, physics and engineering, but also for creative projects where precision matters.
Why choose this metal version?
This Maped compass has metal legs that provide stability and durability during use. The metal construction prevents bending when drawing larger circles and holds the set distance better than plastic alternatives. With a length of 129 mm, it is a handy size for school use and office work.
What does the 0.5 mm lead thickness mean?
The compass uses 0.5 mm graphite leads, which produce a fine line width suitable for precise technical work. This lead thickness is standard for most applications and gives you sharp, clearly visible lines without becoming too thick for detailed work.
Practical benefits of this set
You get not only the compass, but also an adapter ring and a lead box. The adapter ring makes it possible to use different writing tools in the compass. The protective cap over the point prevents accidents and protects the sharp point during storage. With a maximum circle diameter of 284 mm, you can draw circles up to approximately 28 centimetres in diameter.
