What are these pencils and when do you need them?
These Maped pencils have been specially developed for children learning to write. With their triangular shape and HB hardness, they are ideal for beginning writers who are still developing their pencil grip. The pencils help children learn the correct posture for writing with pens later on.

Why is the triangular shape so practical?
The triangular shape prevents the pencil from rolling off the table and automatically provides a better grip. Children can naturally position their fingers on the three flat sides, which encourages the correct pencil grip. This reduces hand fatigue during practice.

Durable and child-friendly material
These pencils are made from recycled resin instead of wood, which makes them more environmentally friendly. The 2.2 mm lead is break-resistant, so it does not snap easily during intensive use by children. The cheerful colours pink, light green and turquoise make writing more fun for young users.

Handy writing aids for extra support
This set includes KIDY learn writing aids in rabbit and chameleon shapes. You slide these colourful accessories over the pencil to guide finger placement even better. They are especially useful for children who struggle with the correct pencil grip or who are just starting to write.
