When do you need triangular pencils?
Triangular pencils are specially designed to help children develop the correct pencil grip. The KIDY learn pencils from Maped support beginner writers through their shape, so your fingers automatically find the correct writing position. This makes them ideal for pre-schoolers and pupils who are just learning to write.

Why choose this HB hardness?
The HB grade offers the perfect balance between hardness and softness for children learning to write. You get a clear line without having to apply too much pressure, while the 2.2 mm graphite core is thick enough to be clearly visible. The break-resistant graphite core ensures the tip does not break off easily, even with enthusiastic use by children.

A sustainable choice without wood
These pencils are made from recycled resin instead of wood, which makes them more environmentally friendly. The barrel is available in cheerful violet and blue colours, which makes writing more fun for children. The material feels pleasant and provides a good grip.

Practical advantages of this format
With 22 pieces in the pack, you have enough pencils for an entire class or for long-term use at home. Each pencil features an integrated writing aid that helps children keep their fingers in the right place. This prevents cramped hands and encourages a natural writing posture from the very start.
