This versatile brush set gives you complete freedom for watercolour techniques. With three different tips, you can perfectly work out both details and flat areas on paper and fabric.
When do you choose this product?
What does this product do?
This watercolour brush set has been specially developed for working with watercolour paint on various surfaces. You use these brushes for painting, writing and blending watercolour paint on paper and fabric. The fine, elastic brush hairs make it possible to create both precise details and smooth transitions.
Why this specific brush combination?
This set contains three different brush shapes, each with its own function: round brushes of 3 mm and 4 mm for line drawing and details, plus one flat brush of 5 mm for filling areas and making broad strokes. This combination gives you the flexibility to apply different techniques without having to buy several separate brushes.
Advantage of fine and elastic brush hairs
The brush hairs have been specially selected to be fine and elastic, which is crucial for watercolour work. These properties ensure that the brushes retain their shape while painting and that they can hold sufficient water and paint for an even release of colour. The elasticity prevents the hairs from breaking when blending colours.
Practical tip for use
Always rinse your brushes thoroughly after use to extend their lifespan. When working with watercolour, start with the smaller round brushes (3 mm and 4 mm) for outlines and details, and use the 5 mm flat brush for filling larger areas. By keeping the brushes wet while painting, you maintain the elasticity of the hairs and prevent paint from drying in the brush.
